High-flying corporates by day, fighters by night. Bruce Wayne's double life is soon to become a reality for 14 business professionals, as they strip away their daytime personas and find the superhero within., the UAE's leading male-focused website, in conjunction with Emerald Events, The Roy Gumbs Boxing Academy, The Warehouse Gym, Boxing News ME & The Meydan Hotel is happy to announce the return of its second white collar boxing event, "Fight Night II."


Set to take place on March 31, 2017, the second edition of the highly-anticipated White Collar Boxing eventwill be hosted in the glamorous Sky Bubble Rooftop, The Meydan Hotel, and offers 600 guests a black-tie experience with a three-course gala dinner as they watch the boxers fight in the centred ring. The event will feature up to 14 fighters, who are everyday professional executives that have committed to train within a ten-week period to transform into boxers just for this event. Each white-collar boxer will be matched up with an opponent and will fight like gladiators on the night!

The intensive ten-week training programme started on January 17, 2017. Applicants were all assessed under the watchful eye of Former UK & Commonwealth Middleweight champion, Roy Gumbs, and a team of boxing coaches.

Each contestant has undergone extensive training that focuses on the technical side of boxing, as well as strength and conditioning to prepare them for Fight Night. Every second of training has prepared the fighters to successfully last three two-minute rounds of intense boxing on the night. Participants have also been given nutritional advice, mental strength training by former fighters and mobility sessions with specialists including Yoga Tune Up®

The rules for the night will ensure the contestants' safety, with each of them receiving medical treatment before and after, a standing eight count and each round scored by professional judges, in addition to a skilled referee. The boxers will be provided with 16 ounce gloves, as well as mouth and head guards for their fight.
